Singing carols at Jaguar Land Rover Christmas meeting at Ashorne Hill
We had a very busy run-up to Christmas, certainly putting our carol rehearsals to the test – starting out with an Advent service in Southam and closely followed with performances at the Guide Dogs Volunteers’ Christmas Dinner, the Southam Christmas Lights Switch-on and Parade, and finally some of us sang at Ashorne Hill for the the Board of Jaguar Land Rover at their Christmas dinner.
Almost the whole choir went on a trip to the John Rutter Carol Concert at Birmingham Symphony Hall, where we sang ourselves hoarse during a wonderful concert by the Bach Choir, who emerged after the interval wearing an astonishing selection of silly hats and tinsel.
Thanks to Alison and the committee for organising us through another busy Christmas.
